High-voltage 345/120kV transmission substation with two 280 MVA transformers (560 MVA normal / 672 MVA 2-hour emergency capacity). Being upgraded as part of NV Energy's Greenlink West transmission buildout, including a new Fort Churchill/Walker River–Mira Loma 345kV line (ISD 2027). The adjacent Trego Grid battery energy storage system went through Reno's annexation and conditional-use-permit process in 2025–2026. Connecting to the current Mira Loma substation.
